Word Finder Generator

This application is a small utility that replaces your clipboard contents with a word finder puzzle of your own design. This is particularly useful for creating puzzles featuring words that are familiar to young children that are taking an interest in reading and writing. The formatting of the output is intentionally neglected so that you are free to apply your own font, like for instance the font endorsed by my childs education system… http://www.education.vic.gov.au/studentlearning/teachingresources/english/handwriting.htm The user interface defaults to a puzzle size of 20 x 20 characters, but this is adjustable down to 10 x 10 or up to 50 x 50. The result delivered into your clipboard contains the word list, the resulting puzzle and a bare version of the puzzle that serves as an answer sheet.
